Our Year 4 PhD student, Eslam Hamed, recently published two works from his PhD research titled "Unleashing the Potential of Single-Atom Nanozymes: Catalysts for the Future" in ACS Sensors, and "Transition Metal Dichalcogenides in Biomedical Devices and Biosensors: A New Frontier for Precision Healthcare" in ACS Biomaterials Science & Engineering. Both works are also featured as the journal front covers!

Eslam has also been selected to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting 2025, which is taking place between 29 June and 4 July. This is a strong testament to his impactful contribution to Science and we look forward to more exciting works from Eslam!
